SOC offers a series MPEG Codec Modules, which include:1.H.264 encoder;2.H.264 decoder;3.MPEG-2 encoder;4.MPEG-2 decoder;5.H.264-to-MPEG2 ;6.MPEG2-to-MPEG2 transcoder;7.Multiple channel codec.The SOC MPEG codec modules are based two mini-size hardware platforms, the MCM-1000 (2.7”x1.7”) and MCM-1000A (2.7”x2.0”). The MCM-1000 has a Xilinx Spartan-6 LX150 FPGA. The MCM-1000A has a Artix-7 A200T FPGA. Both platforms have a BlackFin BF512 DSP for audio codecs. Both the MCM-1000 and MCM-1000A have the same 204 edge pins that are compatible to standard DDR3 connectors. Users can connect a module to their product PCB via an off-the-shelf DDR3 connector.
